ABOUT THE ARTIST

Anna Boothe has been creating sculpture from cast glass since 1980. Her works are represented by galleries throughout the US, featured in numerous private collections internationally and have been exhibited and collected by many museums, some that include the Corning Museum of Glass, Bergstrom-Mahler Museum, Fuller Craft Museum, Kentucky Museum of Art and Design, Museum of American Glass, Racine Art Museum, Tacoma Museum of Art, Tittot Glass Art Museum (Taiwan) and the Toledo Museum of Art.

Anna taught in Tyler School of Art/Temple University’s glass program for 16 years, helped develop and chaired Salem Community College’s (NJ) glass art program and has been an instructor at universities and glass schools throughout the world.

She served on the Board and as President of the Glass Art Society from 1998-2006, and is a former Director of Glass at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia.

She received “Best of” awards when exhibiting for the first time in each the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art and American Craft Council’s Baltimore craft shows. And, in 2021 her perfume bottle “Laurel Berry” received First Place in the International Perfume Bottle Association’s annual competition.

Anna has been passionate about glass for 40 years, and now as a full-time freelance artist is expanding the body of work she offers at high-end craft shows and embarking on her newest venture, PatedeVerity.com
